Gerry Corcoran

Gerry joined The Presence Radio Ministry Staff as The Director of Mission Advancement in December 2014. Prior to working at the Presence his professional experience included six years as a Re-integration Manager for the Essex County and Norfolk County Sheriff’s office in MA. Prior, he served six years as the Vice President of The Robert J. Corcoran Company (Fundraising Consultants), Boston MA. He also served as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach for Dean College, Franklin MA (2002-2005).

Gerry graduated from Northeastern University, Boston MA, in 1987 with a BS/ Speech Communications. That same year he was drafted by the Boston Celtics. He played professional basketball in Europe and the USA for several years after graduation. He also spent several years pursuing high school and college coaching opportunities, upon the end of his playing career.

He currently resides in South Portland with his wife Deanne and four of his five children. He serves with The Knights of Columbus; Cheverus Council #2344, South Portland. He also serves as the past Co-Chair of The Social Justice Committee for Cluster 22 and attends St. John and Holy Cross Parish in South Portland.
