February 22, 2016“Life on the Rock,” a weekly show which can be heard on The Presence Radio will broadcast a Maine-themed episode on Friday, February 26, at 8 PM. Encore episodes will be aired Saturday morning at 3 AM, Sunday morning at 3 AM and Sunday afternoon at 3 PM.
The show, hosted by Fr. Mark Mary and Doug Barry, is a youthful program that features dynamic guests and interesting stories on ministries and initiatives across the country. Typically taped in studio, this special edition was filmed entirely outdoors in Maine. Among the segments in the episode:
- Fr. Mary will go kayaking with Deacon Matt Gregory, a seminarian in the Diocese of Portland who is in his final year of clerical studies at Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary in Weston, Massachusetts.
- An interview with author and South Portland native Susan Conroy who has also served as a host for EWTN programs, including a miniseries entitled “Coming to Christ,” which was filmed on the coast of Maine and in view of Mount Katahdin.
- Catholic young adults from Maine will speak about their lives and faith at Portland Head Light.
