Pwoje Espwa, is Creole for Project Hope.  Project Hope was started, in 1998, by Fr. Marc Boisvert who is from Lewiston, Maine.  The purpose of "Project Hope" is to "Free the Kids" from poverty, hunger, and homelessness.  Please help us bring hope and "Free the Kids" in Haiti.  They are still struggling from the devastation of Hurricane Matthew of last October.  The next Holy Cross Knights of Columbus "Take Out Beans" will raise money for "Project Hope" on Saturday, February 4th, from 3:00pm to 5:30pm at Holy Cross Church Hall, located at 1080 Lisbon Street in Lewiston.  Prices range from $3 for a pint of beans to $10 for "The Works" with a quart of beans.  You may call in your order on the day of the "take out" at (207) 212-5163 and we'll have it ready for you or you may just stop by.  We will also have 50/50 raffle and donations are welcomed.  Thank you for supporting Fr. Marc Boisvert and "Free the Kids"!
