The 18 voices of the Maine Music Society Chamber Singers are members of the MMS Chorale who delight in singing a cappella – without accompaniment. Formed four years ago, their musical repertoire includes a delightful mix of genres, including renaissance pieces, madrigals, spirituals, and ballads as well as modern songs by composers such as George Gershwin, the Beatles and Billy Joel.  They sing at local events including Naturalization Ceremonies for our newest citizens, L/A Art Walks, Veterans’ Day festivities, as part of the summer concert series in Isleboro and the Battle of the Blends at the Gendron Franco Center.  This is their second appearance at the Basilica.  Check them out!

Come and enjoy this talented performer in this sacred space. Concerts are free and open to the public. Donations to restore the Casavant Organ are gratefully accepted.
